MAJÃZ

Majãz offers two distinct types of concerts, which we call 'Acoustic' and 'Dabke'. These two concepts focus on different types of repertoire and fit different types of festivals and venues. The first, acoustic concept, focuses on classical repertoire from the Arab World in a traditional concert setting with a sitting audience. The second concept focuses on Dabke and other dance styles from the Middle East. In our Dabke concerts the audience is invited to dance to irresistible middle eastern rhythms.
